Latina, Littoria already, is one of the youngest cities in Italy, having its foundation dating back to June 30, 1932, in the middle of the fascist era.

After the reclamation of the Pontine plain, it was decided to build the future capital of the province in a flat but a stone's throw from the sea and mountains, integrated into its ancient villages, towns and cities. Latina today is a city for all purposes, with over 120,000 inhabitants, the seat of one of the tallest skyscrapers in Italy and continued population growth.

The center, very regular and geometric, following the principles of the Fascist period, developed around two main squares: Piazza del Popolo and Piazza della Libertà.

Latina worth a visit for several reasons: architectural, as mentioned, tourist and nature: in its territory extends in fact a part of the Circeo National Park, particularly around the Lake of Fogliano.

The beach at last, very little known because of the proximity of other beautiful places, first of Sabaudia, Latina Lido has nothing to envy to other seaside resorts: miles and miles of sand, a waterfront closed between Lake of Fogliano and the sea the lack of the typical hassles of mass tourism, such as traffic, high costs and huge crowd makes a goal Latin marina mandatory, especially for lovers of water sports, kite surfing in the first place.
